2024--day 5

The halfway point of the trip started as a down day, during which we would not be chasing actively.  A leisurely start led into a trip to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and a drive up Mount Scott (elevation 2,464 feet).  It's located near Fort Sill, where they test munitions--regularly.  

The day ended for the third time in a row in Lawton.  At this rate, we should just buy a house here.  Not too much driving today, but we did crest 2,400 miles so far.
